Joseph (“Joe”) Gehrke’s extensive background in civil litigation together with his expertise in dispute resolution facilitates beneficial outcomes for all his clients.  

Joe appreciates that our careers are the cornerstones of our livelihood. Joe advocates for clients through emotionally charged situations that are discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination by employers. Joe helps his clients to navigate through complicated relationships and separations in the workplace. Joe’s persuasive and diligent advocacy ensures the best defense when a legal obstacle confronts your career.

Throughout his career, Joe has represented hundreds of clients in civil rights litigation, personal injury cases, education law, and employment matters. Joe is also a successful alternative dispute resolution practitioner, obtaining sizable mediation settlements and arbitration awards for his clients.

Joe attended Seton Hall University School of Law, focusing on the clinical aspects of legal education, further developing his passion to help parties find a sustainable resolution.

As a committed member of the local and law communities, Joe is a proud member of the Washington State Bar Association Disciplinary Board, the Washington State Association for Justice Judicial Relations Committee, and the King County Bar Association Judicial Candidate Evaluation Committee.  He volunteers as a pro bono attorney with the King County Bar Association’s Housing Justice Project representing tenants faced with eviction and homelessness and he volunteers as a 3rd neutral party.
